WAKA is 'the music of the Primes'.

‘Elves’ museums in areas.

Occupied by ‘orcs’.

Have faced.

A very different problem.

The full extent.

Of plunder.

By ‘orcs’ troops.

Came to light.

In the final days.

Of the occupation.

Of the southern city.

Of Kherson.

Entire truckloads.

Of artworks and.

Historical artefacts.

Were removed by ‘orcs’.

– ostensibly.

For “safekeeping”.

One museum says.

It has identified.

120 artworks.

Taken to Crimea.

– another occupied area.

Of Ukraine.

But the total number.

Of artefacts.

The museum has lost.

Is more than 10,000.

In some museums.

In occupied parts of Ukraine.

‘Orcs’ removed exhibits.

For propaganda purposes.

For example.

An exhibition on.

‘Elves’ modern history.

In Berdyansk.

Has been replaced.

With one glorifying.

The “special military operation”.

– ‘the One’’s official name for the war.

*Because I read “Heritage under attack: Ukrainians revive interest in culture” by Vitaly Shevchenko on 27 Aug 2024, and also “Why are Ukrainians calling Russians ‘orcs’?” by James FitzGerald on 30 Apr 2022, on the BBC news.
So, I wrote this poem, including a story of the Kherson Art Museum.
Please read the original story on the BBC news:
